This wall clock by Bowl Pond Platz combines a Aluminium dial with gently curved, dome-shaped mineral glass.

Measuring 20 cm in diameter, it offers a well-balanced size that is easy to read while blending naturally into its surroundings. Its simple composition quietly reveals the beauty of the materials and the craftsmanship behind it.

The dome-shaped glass catches the light, complementing the aluminium’s soft and understated sheen.

The appearance of the dial shifts with the viewing angle and changing light, creating beautiful reflections, shadows, and a sense of depth beneath the glass. Against the silver-toned dial and hands, the brass-coloured second hand adds a subtle accent.

The numerals are cut directly into the dial, with a black plate placed behind them for clear visibility while preserving the clock’s clean and refined appearance.

The case is formed from a slender strip of aluminium shaped into a circle, with four gently pinched points reminiscent of a flower-shaped dish or a traditional pouring vessel. The structure that secures the glass becomes an integral part of the design.

The slotted screws along the side are another quietly captivating detail. They add a subtle accent to the clean cylindrical case and reflect the care with which the clock is made.

Each piece is carefully polished by hand before being finished with a protective glass coating. The aluminium softly reflects the surrounding light, blending naturally with a variety of colours and materials while bringing a clean, understated presence to the room.

The clock features a sweep movement that allows the second hand to move smoothly and silently, without a ticking sound. It is well suited not only to living and dining spaces but also to bedrooms, studies, and other quiet rooms.

More than a way to tell the time, the clock has the presence of a sculptural object for the wall. Enjoy the light, refined beauty of aluminium and the subtle character created by hand craftsmanship.
